PhD Thesis
Dr. Rowberry’s PhD research provides an ethnography of curanderismo (Amazonian shamanism) in the UK. It utilises three types of ethnography, incorporates post-colonialist principles, and interweaves Deleuze and Guattari’s theory of the rhizome. The result is a riveting and insightful understanding of a nascent subculture in the UK.
